These questions are designed to help you evaluate your own manuscript the way our editors would.

• Is it original? How is your book different from other books on a similar topic?
• Is it practical? Praxis publishes books that our readers- youth, youth workers, parents, and Christian education directors-can pull off the shelf and use immediately and practically.
• Is it need-oriented? People buy books that meet their needs. What needs does your book address? Why would people feel compelled to buy and read it?
• Does it reflect biblical principles? Praxis is an interdenominational Christian publisher and everything we produce reflects that perspective.
• Is it clear and easy to use? Does it make its point concisely? Are instructions easy to follow?

What We're Looking For…

We do not publish fiction, games, gender-specific items, autobiographies, or any type of poetry. All of our materials are leader/teacher-oriented (they are not expressly directed toward children or families).

• books that spur students on to greater intimacy with the Father
• books on practical and experiential prayer and faith

• practical ideas for youth leaders to train students in growing and sharing their faith
• practical resources used by youth leaders that equip their students to hear, know, love and obey God
• relationship-building ideas
• local outreach ideas
• small group studies or other programs that equip students to reproduce Christ in themselves and others
• using short term missions as a discipleship tool
• discipleship curriculums
